I like this idea as it does not just advertise one area of recycling. The letters are what stands for the company name (Bath and North East Somerset), and what they are made of represents what that company can recycle. The letters content are explained in the picture, just to make sure the message gets across to the public. The point of this advertisement is to make the public aware of things that can be recycled that they may not have realised before, such as garden waste and electronics. This will hopefully increase the levels of recycling in the area.
The reason I chose this idea over my others is that my similar advertisement spelling out 'RECYCLE' in food seems to basic, and I have many ideas that only advertise food recycling, whereas this is the idea that covers the entire range of things that can be recycled. My other advertisement, featuring a skip, would have been a lot harder to create compared to the other ideas. This is because of my time and costs restraints, and when it came to creating the poster from my own materials, hiring a skip and all the contents would have been almost impossible with the amount of time and money I had to do the project. I think overall this is the best idea to look deeper into, as it is very effective, simple to understand and could be featured on a website, as a logo, or as a poster for the company.
